As we continue working on the year long project, we have been encountered many problems, but are working diligently to work through each problem. Our main challenge is using the Unity platform to develop the Virtual Reality scene, but we are working with a tutor who helped us get started. Now, we are fiddling with the software to see how everything is connected. Our next challenge will be making sure that the Unity scene can be viewed on a mobile device.
I am currently very proud of the fact that we were able to connect with professors at UCLA and UCSF to determine which scenes would be most beneficial for the individual that would be using it. Although it takes some time for them to respond with their busy schedules, they are still interested and willing to assist us to the best of their ability. I feel that reaching out to people like this is a valuable experience that we typically don't have to do.
